I’m so excited to finally share this space with you.
This page was born from a passion for helping parents and teenagers truly understand one another again. Too often, teenagers are seen as moody or withdrawn — but what if they’re not difficult, just misunderstood?
Through TeenMinds SA, my hope is to help bridge the gap between what teenagers feel and what parents perceive — to reconnect families and rebuild closeness.
A space where teen voices meet adult insight — because every teen story deserves to be heard, and every parent deserves to understand.
Helping parents and teens understand each other better — one honest conversation at a time.
ParentGuide reflections offer practical insights, perspective shifts, and guidance to help you navigate your teen’s world with empathy, patience, and confidence.
Many of the reflections here also speak directly to the emotional world of teenagers, including emotional regulation, anxiety, identity, pressure, and relationships.
The aim is always to normalise the adolescent experience while offering tools that support emotional growth and resilience.
I regularly share short, accessible insights for parents and teens on Instagram.
